FWCUI participation in the ICFTU- Arab regional Conference and the

Report of ICFTU- Arab regional Conference held February 2005 in Amman, Jordan

ICFTU Arab regional Conference held last February in Amman, Jordan, to promote trade union rights in the region. 

The report compiles the majority of the interventions of the speakers as well as sample background information 

provided by Iraqi unions that participated in the conference. By disseminating this information, the ICFTU seeks

 to assist the development of trade union strategies to ensure implementation of core labour standards in the 

Arab countries.
